Welfare Officers

Gymnastics and Cheerleading, like many other sporting activities, can provide valuable life experiences for young people and can help to develop social skills, self-esteem, confidence, teamwork and leadership qualities. All attributes which contribute to a well rounded individual.

At WGGC we are committed to providing, not only high quality tuition, but we also recognise that a positive environment where children and young people are protected from harm is critical to ensure the best possible outcomes for all.

As a club we work extremely closely with British and Welsh Gymnastics and have adopted the Safeguarding Policies & Procedures of our governing body.

All of our staff and volunteers have received up to date Safeguarding and Protecting Children Training and hold a clear enhanced DBS check.

As well as this, we have a team of trained Welfare Officers available at the club who can help with any concerns, complaints or queries you may have.

Below are the details of each of the welfare officers. There will be at least one welfare officer available on site at all times for face to face conversations. Alternatively you can use their contact numbers below or email them at welfare@wyeandgalaxy.co.uk

If you have any concerns or complaints regarding the Welfare or Safeguarding of anyone at the club, please see our Downloads Section for our Safeguarding/Welfare Complaints Policy.
